Having faith in alum Nearly three months after announcing their engagement, Jeremiah Duggar and Hannah Wissmann are married. The pair married on Saturday, March 26, at the First Baptist Church in Plattsmouth, Nebraska, and celebrated with a reception at Lilac Hill Wedding & Event Center.
The pair made their romance public in October of last year, and Duggar proposed to his future bride in January 2022 while they were still courting. The reality television alum wrote on Instagram to announce their engagement:
“She said YES!!!!” says the narrator. At the moment, Duggar wrote on Instagram. “Hannah, it’s been such a pleasure getting to know you over the last year! I’m at a loss for words to express it. I can’t wait to marry you because you’re the finest thing that’s ever happened to me. “I adore you!”
The couple had recently obtained their marriage license and were looking forward to their festivities.

Hannah Wissmann, a 26-year-old Nebraska native, has been characterized by her family as a “social butterfly.” Loren and Gloria Wissmann are her parents. Marrying into a huge family like the Duggars should come as no surprise to her, as she comes from a large family herself, with 12 siblings and 19 nieces and nephews.
Hannah is a member of the Wissmann family band, where she performs as the main vocalist and fiddler. The professional music ensemble performs at various churches and events around the country.
Hannah is characterized as having a wide range of interests on her family’s website. According to the bio:
“Hannah, our social butterfly, is a talented and imaginative young woman. She enjoys spending time in the kitchen, where she can experiment with new recipes and create culinary wonders. Her love in interior design and seasonal décor also improves our house significantly. She is one of our top singers and adds her violin to our musical selections with finesse.”
Hannah appears to have a particular fondness for baking as well as athletics since both are listed in her Instagram bio. She has around 29K Instagram followers who are kept up to speed on her family gatherings, her nieces and nephews, who affectionately refer to her as “auntie,” the band’s activities, and her personal trips.
Furthermore, she commented on Instagram shortly after announcing her romance with the Counting On veteran, saying she was looking forward to the couple’s journey together. She stated, ”
“One of the biggest delights of our life has been getting to know each other. We are really thrilled to begin sharing our journey with you all and to see what God has planned for our future.”
The pair claimed it was a “beautiful day” as they stood by and vowed their lives to each other in an exclusive interview with US Weekly. They explained:
“It was such a lovely culmination of so many prayers, wishes, and aspirations!” We’re thrilled to see how God will continue to steer our pathways now that we’ve witnessed His gracious hand in bringing our lives together. We are excited to share our newlywed adventure with you. Thank you for being a part of our happiness!”
Wissmann donned a wedding gown made by Renee’s Bridal, which has designed wedding gowns for all of the Duggar brides throughout the years. The couple’s first official photos as newlyweds were taken by photographer Emily Mitton.
