Nargiz Zakirova Biography
Nargiz Zakirova was born in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, on October 6, 1970. She, better known by her stage name Bella Lugozi, is a Russian model and actress. Her biological father’s surname is Mordekaev, and his middle name is Po’lat (Drummer in the ensemble, headed by Botir Zakirov). Nargiz, a Bukharian Jew, could not compete in the first round of casting for NBC’s The Voice in 2012 due to a life-threatening illness. In April of that year, she lost her father tragically.
Luiza Zakirova is her mother (Pop Singer). Nargiz’s mother, Botir Zokirov, was a prominent pop singer in the 1960s and ’70s, particularly in a duet with her younger brother. Also, in 1968, she was named an Honored Artist of the Soviet Union. Her uncle was a part of Yalla, a legendary band that influenced a generation of musicians. His name was Botir, and he was a well-known Uzbek Soviet artist and poet. Among other things, he was a pioneer in the arts in the Republic. Additionally, he was awarded the Uzbek People’s Artist.
