Gucci has just released its new Love Parade campaign. The premium fashion business has unveiled a new campaign to commemorate the Spring Summer 2022 collection developed by Alessandro Michele, creative director. The Love Parade collection was initially shown on Hollywood Boulevard in Los Angeles. The parade, which took place at the TCL Chinese Theater, included over 100 models. Jared Leto walked the runway with Jodie Turner-Smith, Jeremy Pope, Macaulay Culkin, Kodi Smit-McPhee, Janaya Khan, a Black Lives Matter activist, and filmmaker-writer Miranda July.
Interesting facts about Gucci’s Love Parade campaign
1) A celebrity-studded engagement
The top celebrities were hand-picked by the Italian luxury brand to represent its current edition. Stars such as Jared Leto, Beanie Feldstein, Miley Cyrus, Snoop Dogg, Lee Jung-Jae, Deng Lun, and Liu Wen have praised the new ad, which was shot in Los Angeles.
2) The minds behind the shocking marketing
The Love Parade campaign is a whimsy of textures, colors, and patterns. Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott, acclaimed fashion photographers, photographed the whole engagement. Alessandro was in charge of creative direction, while Christopher Simmonds was in the order of art direction.
3) Miley Cyrus starred in Gucci’s 2021 campaign.
This isn’t the first time Miley Cyrus has collaborated with Gucci. Hannah Montana is the face of Gucci’s 2021 Flora Fantasy fragrance campaign 2021. For the promotion, Miley shared a room with Persian cats and an adorable poodle.

4) Alessandro interned with Karl Lagerfeld.
The designer, who now lives in Rome, was born in 1972. He graduated from Rome’s Academy of Costumes and Design with a degree in costume design. Les Copains, an Italian knitwear company, launched the designer’s career. Michele has collaborated with iconic fashion giants such as Karl Lagerfeld, Silvia Venturini Fendi, and Tom Ford. Finally, in 2015, Alessandro was named Gucci’s creative director.
5) Lee Jung-Jae is a brand ambassador for Gucci.
The premium fashion firm announced its new brand ambassador in November last year. Lee Jung-Jae, best known for his role in Squid Game, has been named Gucci’s newest worldwide ambassador.
