So, here’s a rundown of all you need to know about the co-hosts’ personal lives.
Savannah Guthrie and Her First Husband’s Marriage
While most people know that Guthrie is happily married to Feldman, many are unaware that her present spouse is her second. Mark Orchard, a former BBC journalist, was her first spouse. In 2005, the former couple met while covering Michael Jackson’s molestation trial. Her first spouse was married Anne Elise Kornblut, a Pulitzer Prize-winning American journalist at the time.

According to rumor, Guthrie intervened between the pair and flipped Orchard’s life upside down. They married in December 2005. However, the marriage didn’t last long, and they divorced in 2009. According to Good Housekeeping, she told The Hollywood Reporter that things changed once she became a White House reporter for NBC in December 2008. “I was doing my best in my personal life, and my work life was going well,” she told The Hollywood Reporter. Guthrie asked the court in her divorce petition to erase her first husband’s surname and did not want financial assistance or alimony. Guthrie and Orchard kept their divorce covert; therefore, the reason for it is unclear. According to the Huffington Post, when asked about her divorce from her first spouse, the news anchor became tearful but refused to reveal anything.
Michael Feldman and Savannah Guthrie
Fortunately for Guthrie, she found her happily ever after with Feldman, despite the tough divorce. In 2008, the television journalist met her present spouse. She was already living apart from her first spouse at the time. Guthrie had gone to Feldman’s 40th birthday party with a mutual acquaintance, and they started dating and fell in love the following spring. She disclosed why she fell in love with Feldman in an interview with Drew and Jonathan Scott’s Reveal magazine.
“One of the things I appreciated about Mike is that he is accommodating.” “I thought, ‘Wow, here’s a sophisticated city kid who can do stuff,'” Guthrie recalled. She went on to say that her father used to repair their automobiles and wished her husband could do the same. Feldman proposed to her while on vacation in Turks & Caicos in 2013. Guthrie wasn’t interested in getting married and was contemplating divorce. But when Feldman went down on his knees, she said yes in two seconds. The pair married at a ceremony in the bride’s hometown of Tucson, Arizona, in 2014. The couple is now happily married with two children.
