A decade later, the Curb Your Enthusiasm star rediscovered love in the arms of Underwood. They were introduced by Cohen and his wife, Isla Fisher, during Sacha Baron Cohen’s birthday party in 2017. In an April 2020 piece for the New York Times, David discussed meeting Underwood. “We were sat close to one other, I guess, with that in mind,” he said. He did, however, surprise Underwood by departing before dessert. His wife, like David, works in the entertainment sector. She is best known as the producer of Who Is America?, a Showtime satirical series created by Cohen. She was also a producer on Cohen’s film, Borat: Subsequent Movie Film. However, it has been suggested that Underwood did not always want to be a producer.
