I hope Isaiah Rashad is well. 🙏🏾
As a consumer/fan of his music, he’s been very vocal in his lyrics about suicide, self-harm and his battles with depression. These things aren’t considered in outing-culture though— only the thrill of catching and/or spilling someone else tea.— Julia’s Horrible CoolSculpting (@djordxc) February 9, 2022
Respect and well wishes to Isaiah Rashad. Some of y’all are disgusting vultures who think you’re entitled to everyone’s privacy and don’t care what this kinda shit can do to ppl.
If you don’t know what I’m talking about, don’t ask.
If you do, I hope you feel the same way I do.— Myke C-Town Ⓥ (@mykectown) February 10, 2022
More information about Isaiah Rashad
The Headshots rapper claimed last year that he was in recovery from alcohol and drug addiction. This coincides with the release of his second album, The House Is Burning. During the period between the release of his albums, Cilvia Demo and The Sun’s Tirade, the rapper also revealed that he was suffering from depression and anxiety.
Isaiah Rashad, on the other hand, has professed a deep love for the music he makes. He said in an interview with Pitchfork that he doesn’t take more than 30 minutes to an hour to compose a tune since “ideas flow to me instantly.” Rashad continued:
“I resort to music to express myself.” It’s what I do to bring a chapter to a finish.”
Rashad also revealed that he feels his albums are similar, but that “one of my albums will become a classic.” Top Dawg Entertainment and Warner Records have signed the Chattanooga, Tennessee native. He got his big break in 2012 after traveling with Smoke DZA, Juicy J, and Joey Bada$$.
