Gawvi, a hip-hop musician, has been dismissed by his company Reach Records after allegations that he sent unwanted and improper photographs to multiple women while married to his wife. The charges surfaced soon after the artist declared his intention to divorce his wife Brianna Azucena, with whom he had been separated since 2020. Following the news, Cataphant, a visual artist, said that Gawvi reportedly transmitted inappropriate photographs to women prior to his split with Azucena.
Reach Records terminated their professional relationship with the artist in reaction to the issue, and he was also removed from the forthcoming We Are Unashamed package tour. Gawvi’s actions were described as “inconsistent” with the record label’s basic principles, according to the label. The business also said that the measure was “essential,” despite the “difficult” choice. Reach Records also requested that their fans pray for the families and persons touched by the crisis.
Meanwhile, the We Are Unashamed tour will apparently continue without Gawvi through March and April, with performances by the label’s other artists such as Lecrae, Andy Mineo, Trip Lee, Tedashii, 1K Phew, Wande, WHATUPRG, and Hulvey.
