Alex debuted on television in 2007 as a contestant on The Food Network’s Iron Chef America. She competed in the fourth season of The Next Iron Chef in 2011, finishing as the third runner-up. Guarnaschelli became a cook for Iron Chef Geoffrey Zakarian after competing in the fourth season of The Next Iron Chef.
