Michael Aloni, the star of Shtisel, is currently single. And, unlike his character, Akiva Shtisel, who is on Shtisel looking for a wife, Aloni isn’t.
Both Aloni and Akiva are single, but the latter disappoints his father, who enrolls him in a community matchmaking system to find him a wife.
Outside of the Israeli drama, the actor’s love life is fairly stable.
Because of his convincing performance in 2012’s Out in the Dark, there were once rumors that he was gay.
He played Roy, a Jewish lawyer who falls in love with There Nimr (Nicholas Jacob) and begins a secret relationship with her.
However, when he began dating neuroscience student Moriya Lombroso, the rumor was put to rest.

Lombroso is frequently mistaken for his wife, despite the fact that the couple has been dating for three years.
They have a Rottweiler puppy named Bruce, who is Aloni’s, other great love. The actor discussed his relationship with Lasha in an interview.
Lombroso had first met Aloni at a party in Tel Aviv, which he had attended with a friend. He immediately noticed her and inquired about her with his friend.
He did not approach her, however, citing the fact that she had many other people vying for her attention.
They reconnected at Midburn, Israel’s version of the Burning Man festival. Just as Lombroso was about to leave, he arrived.
The neuroscientist needed a ride home, and Aloni volunteered. She ended up sleeping the entire way home in the car.
When they arrived at her house, they exchanged email addresses because Lombroso couldn’t remember her phone number.

The two discussed going on a date, but it never happened. But, as luck would have it, they were able to attend the following Midburn.
Aloni had planned not to attend, but due to FOMO, he went anyway. When he returned home, he received a message from Lombroso, who said she had seen him and that it had made her happy.
They finally met after that and have been together ever since.
Aloni also stated in the same interview that he does not believe in marriage and that only time will tell if he will marry his partner.
Choosing to have a child was more important to him than becoming Lombroso’s spouse, but their next step would be to have a Jewish ceremony, as it was important to his girlfriend.
When asked when they would have a child, the actor said they would have to see. He added that he was not concerned about it and that they were content with their dog for the time being.
