Matt Lanter’s wife, Angela Lanter, disclosed on March 27 through Instagram that her husband has started to turn the corner and is slowly getting back on track. He is in recovery after having emergency surgery. Angela posted a black-and-white photo of her and her husband’s interlaced hands with the caption:
“This has been the scariest week of my life.” My husband has gone through a lot since Tuesday, and he ended up in emergency surgery on Thursday.”
She also provided an update on Matt’s rehabilitation, saying:
“I appreciate everyone’s prayers, love, and support. We are extremely grateful to the wonderful nurses; they are true heroes. We are still fighting an uphill battle and will be in the hospital for a little longer, so prayers are much appreciated.”
The reps for Jupiter’s Legacy star did not say anything regarding his health. However, the couple’s pals were spotted responding to Angela’s post, encouraging both of them.
The reasons for Matt Lanter’s surgery
According to his wife, the Pitch Perfect 3 actor had emergency surgery at the hospital. On Sunday, the latter announced the news on Instagram. Angela, on the other hand, did not identify the source of her husband’s health problems. She has yet to give an official comment on the matter, and further information on Matt’s current health status is needed. The 90210 star’s most recent Instagram post came on March 11, when he touted his intended presence at Comic-Con in Lexington, Kentucky, this weekend, which he is unable to attend due to scheduling conflicts. He earlier shared a photo with Angela and their five-year-old daughter in honor of International Women’s Day.
